According to its GitHub page,
is anFabric
“…open-source framework for augmenting humans using AI. It provides a modular framework for solving specific problems using a crowdsourced set of AI prompts that can be used anywhere.”
That sounded interesting, so I wanted to investigate further. Also, there has been quite a bit of chatter around Fabric in the various AI forums and YouTube channels recently. And most of the reviews I’ve seen so far have been pretty positive, so it was time to find out for myself if this library is of any use.
In this article, I’ll go into a bit more detail as to what fabric is, how you can download it to your local system and how you use it.
What is Fabric?
Fabric was written by Daniel Miessler and released as an open-source MIT-licensed project around the beginning of 2024. Daniel has a background in cybersecurity and hacking and an interest in technology and AI.
